What You Can Expect

Therapy for ASD or ID

Did you know that 4 of our clinicians have extensive experience working with people who have autism or an intellectual disability? Their experiences in working with this population in school-based, community-based, and private practice settings give them a deeper insight into fitting therapy to the individual, family, or situational needs. Cookie-cutter therapy doesn’t work so each care plan is carefully put together to meet the unique needs of the individual or situation.

Our therapists may also encourage parents and/or siblings to see a separate therapist to better learn how to navigate the challenges of loving a family member with autism or an intellectual disability. Family sessions may be incorporated as well, depending on the situation.
